Min-Till Tine Seeder

Precision Seeding

Tested and proven in Australia’s tough sowing conditions, the Equalizer range of tine seeders are extremely durable and built to last. The tine seeder is suited to a variety of soils and stubble conditions whilst still ensuring precise and accurate seeding. The tine seeder bar is available in metric sizes 8m, 12m, 15m, 18m and 24m with Domex steel throughout.

Fertiliser & Seed Placement

The fertiliser and seed placement operate between two semi-independent parts of the unit. There are two seeding boot options: standard single chute single band, and double chute for 2 rows, 60mm apart. Granular fertiliser can be placed behind the tine and liquid fertiliser can be placed behind tine and on top of the seed.

Quick seed depth adjustment & semi-independent breakaway system

Incorporated into the Equalizer tine seeder unit is a quick seed depth adjustment clip offering 9 settings. This makes changing depths quick and easy with minimal to no tools required. Downward pressure at the press wheel is also easily adjustable to suit soil conditions.

The tine seeder unit includes a semi-independent break away on tines. Hydraulically controlled trip-able tines can clear small obstacles without changing the seed depth or the press wheel downforce.

When a larger obstacle is encountered, the entire unit will trip to avoid damage. The hydraulic cylinder is also equipped with a built-in dampener, to allow for controlled return of the tine after tripping.

Press Wheels & Tines
Two press wheel options are available: narrow and wide. Both options allow for a slight lateral swing which aids in managing rough surface conditions. Narrow 70mm wheels are used in tougher soil conditions or very rocky soils. Wide 150mm wheels are best for sandy soils and cultivated soils. They provide better floatation and more seed depth control.
Several tine options are available:

The Frame

The strength and durability of the bar comes from the use of Domex steel throughout tine units and a 10mm thick frame. Transport is simple and safe with hydraulic foldable wings in the vertical position, either 3 section fold or 5 section fold. The tine seeder bar is available in widths of 8m, 12m, 15m, 18m and 24m.In-frame, large floatation wheels also allow for better straight-line tracking especially on fields with inclination.

Hydraulic Coulter System
The Equalizer coulter system can be used in conjunction with the tine unit for better residue clearance.
  • Hydraulic cylinder for superior residue cutting ability
  • Hydraulic storage when not in use
  • 560mm large cutting disc
  • Allows for slight lateral swing
  • Sealed SKF Agri Hub
